Kerosene and the moon

What did you think that it would mean to you
when it comes to two plus two?
How did you think the game was played
when the day would come for you?
Why would i still come around if I only fall to the ground
You said you forget everything, you hate it when i sing

The sun still says I’m a silhouette
For the moon to forget
Even though I'm still possible
Lets just settle this bet

Mathematics puzzle you,
but what the hell can you to lose?
Dragging on your cigarette
I forgot just how we met
All these words seem clear to me,
but not when you can see me

And watch the light come through the door
Am i still waiting for more
I know I'm just a silhouette
These are my last words for you|
And it burns like kerosene
But we try to forget
The sun bathes us in regret
But im just a silhouette
